How to find affiliates for a GLP-1 telehealth brand

To find affiliates for your brand when you sell a GLP-1 telehealth program, start with partners whose traffic is allowed for prescription weight-loss offers: content, comparison, coupon and deal sites, email lists, native and paid media buyers, and networks that already carry GLP-1 offers. Paid influencers come last, because TikTok prohibits telehealth branded content and Meta requires approval first.

The generic guides on how to find affiliates were written for Shopify stores and SaaS tools, and most of their advice still applies. They skip the rules that stop some partner types from promoting a prescription weight-loss offer at all, which a brand often learns only after weeks of outreach.

GLP-1 affiliate partner types and where to find them

GLP-1 affiliate partners fall into six groups, and each one has a different source, a different ask and a different rule that limits it. Use this table to decide where to spend recruiting time first.

Partner typeWhere to find themWhat they need from youRule that limits them
Content sites and SEO publishersPages ranking for “best online GLP-1 programs”, your competitors’ affiliate pages, affiliate marketplacesTracking links, a clear offer page, approved claims, fast answers on pricing changesFTC disclosure of the affiliate link (16 CFR 255.5)

GLP-1 brands that recruit in public show what they ask for. OrderlyMeds says it “typically” requires “a social following of over 1,000 on their highest-followed channel” and looks for creators in spaces such as “Health & wellness”, “Fitness (personal trainers)” and “Dietitians/meal planning”. TeleWellnessMD lists “Personal trainers, chiropractors, nutritionists, gym owners, wellness coaches and clinics” as candidates. Both pages were checked on October 30, 2026.

How GLP1.partners supplies affiliates to GLP-1 brands

GLP1.partners gives GLP-1 brands traffic from an affiliate network we manage, with 410 affiliates earning with us, and from comparison sites we own. A brand that works with us doesn’t start recruiting from zero. We match the brand’s offer to affiliates whose traffic fits it, and the offer runs against the KPI the brand sets.

  • The KPI is yours. You set the target and how you confirm a conversion, and affiliate traffic is judged against that number next to your other channels.
  • Our comparison sites are one more source in the same program. Visitors there are already comparing GLP-1 providers.
  • Offers come to our affiliates direct from the brand, with your terms and your claims list.
  • Coupon and deal sites are accepted traffic in our network. Push and pop traffic is not.

We’ve scaled 27 US GLP-1 brands. Affiliates sit next to the media we buy for brands: Meta on established agency accounts built for GLP-1 scale, with a dedicated Meta agency contact; established Outbrain accounts with a dedicated setup for GLP-1; TikTok; and an Instagram influencer network. We run GLP-1 and telehealth traffic at scale with platform approvals on every network we buy.

Platform and FTC rules that limit who you can recruit

Three rule sets decide whether a partner type is worth recruiting for a GLP-1 telehealth brand: TikTok’s and Meta’s branded content policies, and the FTC’s Endorsement Guides. Check all three before you pay an influencer or a publisher.

TikTok’s Branded Content Policy (effective October 30, 2026) lists “Weight loss products or services”, “Including weight loss clinics”, under prohibited industries. The same list names “Any medical institutions, treatments or devices, including nutritionists, online pharmacies and telehealth providers”. Prescription medicines sit in a separate restricted tier: in the United States and Canada they’re limited to users over 18 and to the market where the post went up, creators may post only “if you have been invited by an approved brand”, and “Brands may only partner with content creators through the TikTok One platform.” TikTok also counts a paid review as branded content. Read both lists before you sign a TikTok creator, and get TikTok’s answer in writing for your brand.

Meta’s Branded Content Policies put prescription drugs under business partner authorization. The business partner “must apply to Facebook to promote prescription drugs”, and telehealth providers are among the entities eligible to apply. Posts promoting prescription drugs “must be restricted to people 18 years or older and restricted to the United States, New Zealand, or Canada.” Branded content about weight loss products or services must be age-gated to 18 or older, and creators must tag you with the branded content tool. The brand’s own ad rules are in our guide to Meta’s prescription drug ad policy.

The FTC’s Endorsement Guides make the brand answerable for its partners. Section 255.1(d) says advertisers should “Provide guidance to their endorsers”, “Monitor their endorsers’ compliance”, and “Take action sufficient to remedy non-compliance and prevent future non-compliance.” Section 255.5 requires material connections such as payment to be “disclosed clearly and conspicuously.” The FTC’s Q&A page says:

“Advertisers need to have reasonable programs in place to train and monitor members of their network.”

Every partner you sign adds briefing and monitoring work, so 50 small influencers take far more supervision than 5 established publishers. How to run that monitoring is in how GLP-1 brands monitor affiliate ads.

Where to find GLP-1 affiliates

The fastest sources for GLP-1 affiliates are the places where partners already promote telehealth offers. Work through them in this order.

  1. Competitors’ partner pages. When we checked 9 GLP-1 brand homepages on October 23, 2026, 5 linked a partner-type page such as “Affiliates” or “Partner with us”, and 2 of those led to an affiliate signup. Publishers who link to those programs are active in the vertical, so search for content that links to them and you have a prospect list. The publisher-side view of the same search is in how to find out if a GLP-1 brand has an affiliate program.
  2. Pages that already rank. Search “best online GLP-1 programs”, “GLP-1 telehealth comparison” and brand-versus-brand queries. Many of the sites on page 1 earn affiliate commissions and say so in their disclosures, so they already work with telehealth programs.
  3. Affiliate marketplaces and CPA networks. GLP-1 telehealth offers are listed on marketplaces such as Awin and FlexOffers and on CPA networks. A listing brings inbound applications; a network brings media buyers who need an offer to run.
  4. Tracking platform tools. Everflow says brands can build “custom application flows” that “utilize data from third-party sources like LegitScript and NPI numbers”. That’s useful when you recruit health professionals.
  5. Influencers and coaches. Search Instagram for trainers, dietitians and coaches who already post about weight loss. Check the branded content rules above first, platform by platform.

Why a customer referral program is a different thing

A customer referral program pays or rewards existing customers for bringing friends. Generic guides tell brands to turn customers into affiliates. For a prescription weight-loss program that advice needs care: a reward framed around bringing in patients reads badly, and your customers aren’t publishers with traffic.

Keep the two apart. Run referrals as a customer program with its own terms. Recruit affiliates as businesses that send traffic and visitors, paid on the conversion event in your contract. How to set that event is in how to launch a GLP-1 affiliate program.

What to send a GLP-1 affiliate before they say yes

Good GLP-1 affiliates get pitched often, so the brand with the clearest kit wins the test budget. Send this in the first reply, not after a call.

  • The offer in one paragraph: what the visitor buys, the price shown on your site, the states you serve.
  • The conversion event and the payout model you pay on, plus when you pay.
  • Your approved claims list and the claims that are banned, with examples.
  • Allowed traffic sources, in writing, including your rule on bidding for your brand name.
  • Landing pages and creative you’ve already approved.
  • Disclosure rules and who reviews new creative.

Affiliates read missing items as risk. A partner who can’t tell which traffic is allowed will either skip you or run something you didn’t want.

A step-by-step plan to recruit GLP-1 affiliates

You can run this plan without us. A small first wave lets you judge each partner on its own numbers before you add more.

How a GLP-1 brand recruits affiliates: competitors' partner pages, ranking comparison pages, marketplaces and CPA networks, and Instagram influencers feed 30 to 50 prospects; a rule check covers TikTok, Meta and the FTC; then a test wave of 5 to 10 partners is judged on the brand's own conversion event
The recruiting flow on this page: find prospects, check each partner type against TikTok, Meta and FTC rules, then test 5 to 10 partners.
  1. Write the kit above. Get your compliance and medical teams to sign off on the claims list.
  2. Decide which partner types you’ll allow, using the table. Leave paid influencers out until Meta approves your prescription drug branded content application and TikTok answers in writing.
  3. Build a list of 30 to 50 prospects from competitors’ partner pages, ranking comparison pages and one network.
  4. Send personal outreach. Name the page or campaign of theirs you saw and why your offer fits their audience.
  5. Approve 5 to 10 partners for a test. Give each one tracking links and the approved creative.
  6. Review every partner’s pages and ads before they go live, and keep checking after.
  7. After the test, compare partners on your own conversion event, not on clicks. Cut the weak ones, then recruit the next wave from what worked.

FAQ

How do I find affiliates for my business if I sell a prescription program?

Look where GLP-1 offers already run: comparison and content sites ranking for GLP-1 provider searches, competitors’ affiliate pages, and networks that list telehealth offers. Check each partner type against TikTok’s and Meta’s branded content rules before outreach.

Can GLP-1 influencers promote a telehealth brand?

On Meta, a telehealth brand must apply to Meta before branded content promotes prescription drugs, and posts are limited to people 18 or older in the US, New Zealand or Canada. On TikTok, the prohibited list names weight loss services and telehealth providers, so confirm with TikTok before paying any influencer.
