GLP-1 affiliate program questions: 20 answers for new affiliates

These are the GLP-1 affiliate program questions new affiliates ask most: whether programs pay, what counts as a sale, which traffic is allowed, and whether the vertical is legal. In short, programs pay per first paid order after a hold, content and creator traffic are the easiest fit, and disclosure plus brand-approved claims are required everywhere.

The questions are the ones affiliates type into search and raise in affiliate forums, in our own words. Each answer quotes a brand’s program page or a regulator, checked November 1, 2026, and links to the guide that goes deeper.

Five questions to answer in writing before promoting a GLP-1 offer: what counts as a conversion, how long the click window lasts, when a commission locks, which traffic is approved, and which claims may be used
Five answers to get in writing from any GLP-1 program before you send traffic.

Getting started as a GLP-1 affiliate

Getting started as a GLP-1 affiliate needs a real site or audience and traffic that fits the program’s rules. Years of affiliate experience matter less than what you can show the program.

Can you make money with a GLP-1 affiliate program?

Yes, when your traffic fits the program’s rules. GLP-1 telehealth brands sell monthly and multi-month plans and pay affiliates on the first paid order, which on a prepaid multi-month plan is a large order. Fewer brands recruit in public than people expect. We checked 144 US GLP-1 telehealth brands on October 23, 2026, and found a public affiliate program for 24 of them. The data and the risks are in is GLP-1 affiliate marketing worth it.

Is a GLP-1 affiliate program a good fit for beginners?

It can be, if you have a real site or audience. Applications focus on where you publish and what you publish. Found, for example, requires “an active website or platform with content that aligns with Found’s products and audience.” Publish a few pages or posts on the topic first, then apply. The full order of steps is in how to become a GLP-1 affiliate.

Do you need a website to promote GLP-1 offers?

Not always. Found accepts “an active website or platform,” and HealthRX lists newsletter writers next to SEO publishers among the partners it wants. Creators can apply with an Instagram audience instead of a site. Mondae requires partners to “disclose that relationship in their content,” so a social account works as long as each post carries a clear disclosure. For Instagram creators, see our GLP-1 influencer program.

Payouts and conversions in GLP-1 programs

Payouts and conversions in the GLP-1 programs with public terms work in a similar order: a sale triggers the commission, a hold period follows, and the payment cycle decides when the money arrives.

Do GLP-1 affiliate programs actually pay?

The programs with public terms state how and when they pay, and some pay a month or more after the sale. Good Girl Rx says commissions are “paid monthly after the month closes, net-30, with a $50 minimum that rolls forward.” Get the payment cycle, minimum and method in writing before you send traffic. On our GLP-1 affiliate program, a conversion is a sale, paid weekly or monthly depending on the deal.

What counts as a conversion in a GLP-1 affiliate program?

In most GLP-1 programs, a conversion is a sale, usually the first paid order. Good Girl Rx defines it as “a first paid, doctor-approved order placed by a new customer through your unique link,” and says it pays “never on quiz starts, sign-ups, or approvals alone.” Mondae counts a signup only once the medication “has shipped from the pharmacy.” Click windows differ too: Good Girl Rx’s link “tracks clicks for 14 days,” and HealthRX uses a “30-day last-click cookie.” Ask for the exact trigger and window in writing. Step 4 of the GLP-1 affiliate start path lists the terms to request.

How much do GLP-1 affiliate programs pay?

GLP-1 affiliate pay depends on the brand and the plan length, so read each brand’s own rate card. Plan length can decide whether a sale pays at all: HealthRX states “Monthly plans do not commission.” Each brand’s published rates, one brand at a time, are in GLP-1 affiliate commissions.

Do GLP-1 affiliate programs pay recurring commission?

A few do, usually with a cap. T2D pays “$15/month per active member,” up to “$180 per year per referral.” HealthRX says its creator program “pays $100 to $200 per customer plus a share of months 2 to 7.” Good Girl Rx pays the other way: “A single flat payout per new customer,” and “never a recurring percentage.” Check which model you are signing up for. The four industry payout models are compared in how GLP-1 affiliate programs work.

Can a GLP-1 commission be reversed after the sale?

Yes, until it locks. Good Girl Rx says “A commission locks after the customer’s first refill ships or 45 days, whichever comes first,” and a refund or cancellation before then reverses it. Ask for the lock window, and whether a refund after you’ve been paid comes out of a later payment, before you scale. How holds and clawbacks cut your margin is covered in what eats your margin on a GLP-1 offer.

Traffic and rules for GLP-1 offers

Traffic rules for GLP-1 offers differ from program to program. Content and creator traffic face the fewest limits, while paid social and brand bidding need the brand’s written approval.

Which traffic sources do GLP-1 affiliate programs accept?

GLP-1 programs accept content sites, creators and email most readily. HealthRX lists “SEO publishers and reviewers,” “Newsletter writers” and “Comparison and deal sites” among the partners it wants. Paid media usually needs approval first. On GLP-1 offers we run, coupon and deal sites are accepted, and push and pop traffic are not. Networks and brands each publish their own list, compared in which traffic telehealth affiliate networks accept.

Can GLP-1 affiliates run Meta ads from their own account?

Usually not. Meta ties prescription drug ads to the advertiser: “Meta requires online pharmacies and telehealth providers to be actively certified with LegitScript.” An affiliate’s own ad account doesn’t hold the brand’s certification. HealthRX states it plainly: “Never on Google or Meta for prescription products from your own ad accounts.” Get written approval before you spend anything. Our affiliate page lists Meta as allowed on the offers we run, with brand-approved creative only. The claim and traffic rules per drug are in affiliate programs for GLP-1 drugs.

Can you promote GLP-1 offers on TikTok or Instagram?

Instagram, yes, with a disclosure in every post and the brand’s claim rules. TikTok is harder. TikTok’s Branded Content Policy, effective October 30, 2026, lists “Weight loss products or services” as prohibited, “Including weight loss clinics.” HealthRX also bans its offer “as TikTok branded content.” Creators who post about weight loss on Instagram can read how our influencer program for Instagram works.

Are coupon and deal sites allowed on GLP-1 offers?

It depends on the program. Found “will not approve any coupon sites, browser extensions, non-working websites, or websites featuring controversial content.” HealthRX lists “Comparison and deal sites” among the partners it recruits, but bans “brand-plus-coupon keywords.” Coupon and deal sites are accepted on the GLP-1 offers we run. The program-by-program rules are in coupon sites and GLP-1 affiliate offers.

Legality and compliance for GLP-1 affiliates

Legality and compliance for GLP-1 affiliates rest on three sets of rules: the FTC on disclosure, the FDA’s line on drug claims, and each brand’s own claim list.

Is GLP-1 affiliate marketing legit?

Yes. GLP-1 telehealth brands run public affiliate programs and recruit publishers openly. The rules are strict, because the brand sells a prescription service. The FTC’s disclosure rules apply to affiliates: “The same guidance applies anytime you endorse a product and get paid through affiliate links.” The FDA has also targeted telehealth marketing, warning 30 telehealth companies on March 3, 2026. More guides on the business are in our GLP-1 affiliate marketing hub.

What disclosure does a GLP-1 affiliate need?

A GLP-1 affiliate needs a clear disclosure next to each affiliate link, under the FTC’s Endorsement Guides. The FTC’s own sample wording is “I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.” Placement matters too: “A single disclosure on your home page won’t be sufficient.” The FTC’s influencer guide adds: “Don’t assume that a platform’s disclosure tool is good enough.”

What claims can’t a GLP-1 affiliate make?

A GLP-1 affiliate can’t promise results or prescriptions, and can’t describe a compounded drug as the same as an approved one. HealthRX: “Never promise medical outcomes.” Mondae: partners “may not make claims about weight loss results or promise that anyone will be prescribed medication.” The FDA’s March 3, 2026 letters cited “claims implying sameness with FDA-approved products.” On offers we run, the rule is brand-approved claims only, with no before-and-after images and no weight-loss result claims. The lines FDA has flagged are in misleading GLP-1 ad claims and the FDA.

Can affiliates promote compounded GLP-1 offers?

Yes, with extra claim rules. Several brands quoted on this page, including HealthRX, Mondae and T2D, sell compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide plans. FDA’s Q&A page is direct: “Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved.” Your page counts as the brand’s advertising, so never write “generic,” “same as Ozempic” or “FDA approved” about a compounded product. Ask the brand which claims are cleared for its compounded plans. The background is in compounded GLP-1 explained.

Picking a GLP-1 affiliate program

Picking a GLP-1 affiliate program starts with finding which brands run one, then reading the terms, then keeping a backup for the day an offer stops.

Where do you find GLP-1 affiliate programs?

GLP-1 affiliate programs live in three places: on the brand’s own site, often behind a footer link; on an affiliate network; or with the brand’s partner team when nothing is public. Found, for example, says “We partner with Impact to manage our affiliate program.” Many brands show no link at all, so search operators and direct contact matter. The search method is in how to find out if a GLP-1 brand has an affiliate program.

Should you join a GLP-1 brand directly or through a network?

Each route has different terms. Joining the brand directly shows you the brand’s own payout event, window and hold. A network can set its own rate, hold and payment schedule, and a sub-network adds a second set of terms. Ask any network whether the brand’s clawbacks pass down to you and on what timeline. The network types are laid out in telehealth affiliate networks.

Can you trust GLP-1 affiliate program reviews in forums?

Treat them as leads to check. A forum thread gives one person’s payment experience, without their traffic type or terms. Directory reviews are thin too: Affpaying’s listing for the Yara GLP-1 Weight Loss Ambassador Program showed 0 reviews on November 1, 2026. Turn each complaint you read into a written question for the program. How to weigh each kind of evidence is in GLP-1 affiliate program reviews.

What happens if a GLP-1 offer gets paused?

When a GLP-1 offer is paused, stop sending traffic to it and ask the program in writing whether conversions made before the pause still pay. Offers pause for reasons outside your control, such as a brand changing its menu after FDA policy moves or a program hitting its cap. Keep a second program approved for the same traffic so your pages don’t sit idle. The first steps by type of pause are in GLP-1 offer paused.
